Why I love this plastic-free wellness section!
"To the point ingredients, concentrates take up less space in my cabinets, I am investing in longer-lasting items, creating less waste for our local landfill to truck out of the area, reducing my own non-biodegradable waste (low quality plastics that will not be recycled into new items or the “forever plastics”), and directly supporting companies that are prioritizing going plastic-free, while also supporting my local member-owned Co-op.
If you’re wanting to reduce your exposure to plastics, then starting off with just a few swaps of your everyday essential items is the easiest and most efficient way to lower your daily plastic use. Whether you’re taking steps to eliminate plastic for personal health reasons or for the global cause of eliminating the use of unnecessary plastic packaging, we are here for it and here for you!”
