Alternative Transportation Stamp Card

Kiya Villarreal, Sustainability Officer

We are so excited to share some uplifting news with our members and shoppers, the Co-op is happy to introduce our new Alternative Transportation stamp card!

The Basics:

The Alternative Transportation stamp card will look very similar to our other stamp cards and function the same way other stamp cards do – fill the card up with stamps and get rewarded.

The back of each card has the general instructions which you can see below:

The EXCITING details:

Our Alternative Transportation stamp card is truly about rewarding our shoppers, members, and employees who opt to arrive to the Co-op car-free.

  • Receive a stamp when you arrive at the Co-op traveling over a 1/4 mile by bus, bicycle or walking.
  • Stamps can be collected at Customer Service after purchase of $10 or more.
  • 15 stamps can be redeemed for $5 off a purchase of $10 or more.

How do I get a stamp?

Arrive to the Co-op car-free having traveled over a ¼ mile AND spend a minimum of $10 then go to customer service and present your existing stamp card or ask for a new one if it’s your first time or you’ve redeemed a full card already.

Why are we doing this?

We are working to incentivize car-free shopping trips for us all, thank our returning shoppers, all while simultaneously keeping our parking lot clearer and allowing more space or closer spots for those who needed to drive for their Co-op trip (enhancing their trip too)!

Thank you all, and we sincerely hope you love it!
